I have a 2001 frontier crew cab 3.3L 4x4, I took my family to the lake a couple of weeks ago and had to back out deeper than normal (no rain). If the charcoal canister and evap parts located on the rear of the vehicle submerge, could I have sucked up water into my system?? After we loaded the boat and started home the SES light came on, tested when I got home and PO440 code came up, I have checked everything and that is the only differance, also there was a grumbling sound in the drivers side dash or under the hood? Maybe where the evap parts are? ( I know this sounds crazy) any help would be great?
