I recently got a 2004 Black Nissan Frontier KC XE and was wondering how I would be able to remove the F-R-O-N-T-I-E-R emblem on the back of my truck on the tailgate. If anyone could give me any advice or instructions on how to remove it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

..

LaxGuy1390;

There are products like 'Goo Gone' that soften some adhesives without damaging some types of paint. Test for paint damage in a hidden area first. It is also possible the adhesive has already done some damage.

Just get a bigger Chevy sign to put over it!

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

Attention Greenies: The government is allowing importation of merchandise from countries that are polluting the atmosphere worse than our country is. This importation costs the U.S. jobs and make our borders less secure.

the goo gone will take it off, but you will most likely have to re-paint the tailgate.  you will still be able to see where the letters were

heat gun on low and 3m general purpose adhesive remover.  Then clay bar and wax.  You'll never know it was there.
