Mine is very poor sounding, like marbles rattling.  I deff need it replaced, is it worth getting a performance one, or should i just get it stock?

There hasn't been any proven gains going with a Hi-flow vs stock on a stock engine.

In fact, a guy over on the Maxima forums did dyno runs comparing Hi-flow vs stock cat on a stock 3rd gen (1989-1994) Maxima, VG30E.  There was no difference.

it depends upon how it was installed intiatially.  if it was just bolted on there, then it isn't too hard, but you'd probably need a impact gun.
