Fellas,

My Frontier 4L V6 - 2007 is made in America.

Anyone know if it is made by Nissan in Tenn. or, if not, by whom.

Do you still have the window sticker? If so, I would think it should say on there.

There are 2 stickers:

One is 'the sticker' that contains all the components, accessories, price, etc. and indicates that final assembly is in Smyrna, Tenn.

The other is a small one indicating that the engine is made in the USA and the transmission is made in Japan.

Of course, I'm recounting this from memory but will have another look after work today.

Howdy-

The VQ40 is produced at the Dechard, TN USA plant.

That being said, I believe the block is still being cast in Japan but assembled in in the USA since their site states that cylinder block casting begins Spring 2008.
