Hello fellow frontier owners.  I recently purchased a new 2007 Frontier King Cab SE.  So far I love the truck.  There is one small, but somewhat annoying problem though.  I have noticed a small rattling noise (almost like a small snapping sound) coming from what sounds like the passenger side of the dash.  It usually rattles when going over bumps, and temperature seems to affect how much rattle I get.  It is not that loud or noticeable, especially with the radio on.  But, with the radio off, I hear it just enough to be slightly annoyed.  I was wondering if the passenger side air bag could be responsible for the noise, or if that's a stupid idea?  I haven't mentioned it to the dealer yet, as I'm afraid they'll think I'm crazy.  Any one else have a problem like this, or know what it might be?

not sure what that noise could be, sure it's not inside the glove compartment? my first thought would be to take it to the dealer...who cares if they think you are crazy..take them on a quick demo drive with you and point it out, it's under warranty, make them make you happy, it's a big investment you made there in that new frontier.

I've heard something similar on my '07 se cc 4x4 manual, but I'd describe it as coming from just to the left of the steering wheel, inside the dash.  I've had the truck for just over a month now and don't recall hearing it recently though.

If I had to describe the noise, it sounds like something in there was loose and would rattle when hitting bumps, sometimes soft and sometime quite audible, although not *loud*.  Like I said though, I can't say I recall hearing it within the past week though...
