06 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Nismo: Does anyone know what is causing a single clank from a cold start evertime the truck reaches between 15-20mph? Sounds like it could be coming from the front end but it is hard to pinpoint. Thanks.

My 4 banger does the same thing shifting (or just before shifting) into second. It does it if I let it sit for extended periods (more than 7 hours or so)

The sound that you hear from up front in the truck when you first start it and take off is the self-diagnostic feature of the Anti-lock-braking system. It automatically tests the ABS system to ensure that it is working properly. The clunk noise the you may hear and feel is normal. I hope this helps.

Mine does it too and the Nissan field rep I deal with all the time confirmed the ABS Self diagnostic checks being done.
