why is it that not many company's make CAI for my certain frontier?

for all of the 2.4L frontiers, they are the same engine as the more recent 240sx only bored slightly different or something along those lines in order to create more torque. also, the throttle body faces upwards, while that of a 240sx with the same engine faces forwards and is farther down. The only way to get a CAI is by doing a throttle body swap which will involve dealing w/ electronics.
plus none of the major companies will make a CAI for us. i e-mailed K&N many months ago in concern with nobody making one except for weapon-R and someone form a mini-trucking website, and they said there were no plans to create one ever. There arent really that many, and the aftermarket for nissan trucks is crap anyways.
