So I just bought this 2007 LE CC LB and I'm thinking of placing 2 motorcycles (around 500 lbs each) in the bed, driver/passenger combined weight roughly 400 lbs and total gear weight maybe 100 lbs.  I think I'm rated at 1260 lbs, but this will tally up to 1500/1600 lbs.

So what do you think, too much?

My plan is to travel primarily highway around 1200 miles round trip.

Dr. Kwan

The rating usually does not use passengers since it's meant more for the rear end.  I would load everything up and see how it looks.  If most of the gear ends up in the cab, it will help even out the load.

Thanks.  I thought the rating included passengers and everything but I'm new to this so I'll give it a try.  Won't happen for a few months; I'll post back then.

If you get a lot of sag, you could look into getting assist springs.  They're usually not too much, around $200-$300

Drkwan, You should not have any problems hauling your bikes.  I tow a 25ft trailer without out any problems and very little sag.  So go out and have fun...

I think on www.nissanhelp.com it lists payload rating including passengers, but not certain on that.

Thank you people.  That puts my mind at ease a little.  I'll post up some pics if/when the day happens.
