I did a search and couldn't locate a how-to or install directions for adding a new set of headers on a 4.0 Fronty.
I'm 1/2way into my install. The exhaust is off - from the cat. And I removed and installed the new driver header. But the passnger header is a PITA. The clearances are so damn close. Its hard to even get your hand down there. I removed the PS resv, fuse box and wireharness to gain access but its still difficult.
Any help is appreciated!
BTW - I am installing the Volant intake, JBA headers, Gibson exhaust and TB spacer this weekend. My knuckles are thanking me. yea right!

Would removing the passenger wheel and fender liner help - or a waste of time?

You might want to take a look at where the liner and the frame rail are. It might be benificial if it'll help squeeze the header in and out.

Does an FAQ or install exist somewhere?

I was able to remove the passenger header pretty easily by taking off the tire and fender lining. The only difficult step was bending the heatshield so it could be manuvered out of the engine bay to gain access to the header. This took about 45mins or so of tapping, bending, cutting..etc.. Once out of the way, the header was a simple install. No engine lifting required.
I'll post pictures and my opinion on the parts tomorrow.

Here is the side by side comparison of the stock header v. the JBA header. Although the primary appears to be the same diameter - the equal length tubing of the JBA header keeps the exhaust pulses separate until just before the cat. Adding in scavenging and reducing backpressure.
