Anyone have problems with broken manifold bolts or gaskets on the passenger side of engine? Leaking somewear by engine scared to pull the heat shields off.

Thanks

YES!!! my manifold cracked right down the middle! i opted to replace it with the more affordable pacesetter header which i like. some people say they are not worth the money but if you have to replace the manifold i would strongly suggest it.

i have the same exact thing in my 2000 CC. i can really hear it when its cold and i don't let it warm up much then take off. i've been told i'm hearing things haha. just gives me a reason to put headers on it.

If you crank the hood open and listen on both sides of your engine block you should hear a hissing, hit the throttle from under the hood, if theres a leak there, you'll hear it.

definetly sounds like the same case as mine, a good way to tell if theres a leak is the same as explained to Aaron360, instead have someone stick there hand over the exhaust without cranking the throttle, this will louden and intensify the leak. should be leaking by the manifold.
