I had the truck 3 days went to fill it for the first time and I opend the gas door and heard a pop the metal sping type thing had broken clean in two and I was gental as I could have been I`m hoping this is not a sihn and I took it in and it`s now been two weeks and my apointment is not till wedsday!

I had the broken spring problem also.  Dealer said that a whole new door needed to be ordered.  Waited for that, then waited for it to be painted.  Made an appointment to get new door installed and found out new door did not come with a spring.  So they ordered just the spring and put it on the original fuel door. 

The dealer now has a silver door with no spring.

I agree with you!  When they told me they had to order a new door I said "Are you sure, that seems dumb" but they ordered it anyway.

i have a 2005 king cab and my doors dont squeak but my frikin window rattles, and if u ever have and problem with your truck the  best thing to do is to find out who the general manager is and take all of your problems  directly to them, i had a problem with my tow reciever hitch that crap was never put on and when i told them they tried to say i had to pay for it so i called the the gm and he took care of that and got my new floor matts, hay does anyone have the 4x4 Stick 2005 frontier?
