... I used to be a nit wit adolescent until I hit 50 years old. I wasted many many dollars on exhaust systems. When I bought my ‘76 V-8 401ci Wagoneer twentythree years ago it had duels with smitty glass packs. It had a sweet sound but in a 12 hour plus drive to the mountains it could get a little old. While driving the steep narrow high altitude trails in Colorado I could tell quickly and exactly how well the engine was running. But in the towns the cops also could tell. The noise prevented me from hearing an exhaust manifold leak that ended up setting the engine on fire. So I had the complete system rebuilt to near stock set up.  And now the cops don't even look my way as I speed by!

Attracting attention to yourself can be good or it can be bad,… and costly two ways.
