well i made a hole in the plastic thing covering the whole on the rear bumper so i can put my tow reciever ball thing on there....and i was wondering if thats ok, i mean im only gonna be towing a boat not more than 3000 pounds for sure maybe not even 2000 pounds....and i was wondering if thats ok, cause some people have those things under thier bumpers where they attach the trailer...and as a far as the wiring there are the plugs which i have found so thats fine but attaching the trailer to my bumper is my main conern, so please get back to me soon...

There should be a insert in the bumper that can be taken out to install a ball.

But the bumbers aren't rated for much, equivalant of a Class II hitch.  Read the manual and see how much it says it can tow.  And make sure on the trailer.

Honestly if it was my truck.  I would go down and have a Class III hitch installed on the truck (those things under the bumper)  The last thing you'd want is to be towing the boat and have it rip your bumper off.
