Hello Group!
I have a code scanner and picked up these two codes. Truck
has 168K miles,( 2008 V6) on it, no other issues. The
check engine light came on. On the VQ engine, is bank 1 the
passenger side? Truck started to idle fast (1100 RPPM)
when check engine light came on. Any suggestions on the
cause? Intake manifold gasket? I had the timing chain
replaced at 43K under the Tech service bulletin. I cleared
the codes and now truck idles perfect, around 650-700 RPM.
Thank you in advance. Oil is changed every 3K miles, well
maintained. No symptoms of carbon build up, only used top
tier costco gas.
Update:
I think I found the issue. I noticed a really small water
leak from the heater core connection, which is right above
the passenger side O2 sensor. I saw evidence of a water
leak on the frame, and my truck was about 10 ounces low on
coolant. What I need help with is what is the name of
this part? Looking at the picture, its the part which has
the hose going to the top of it. The leak is where the
connection is going towards the cab. I am having trouble
posting the pic.

Hey David,
My Advice is to download the Genuine Nissan Service
Manual and go through the Diagnostic's.
1st thing's I would check is to make sure that the Air
Filter is Seated correctly and that the Lid is Secure in
the 3 Tab's and latched. Check all Air Pipe Connection's
from the Air Filter that they are Fitted good and Clamp's
are tight. Make sure that the Electrical Connection is
connected on the Air Pipe.
If the Air Filter Show's Sign's of Dirt or Too Old
Replace it with an OE Nissan. I've also used an Orange
Wix,, but recently the OE Nissan was about the same price
on WalMart.com that I just got for mine.
TPD sell's OE Nissan Part's ~ Free Shipping and Free
Return's!

Filter-Element-Assembly-OE-165467S000/5068935150?

&from=/search
Maybe the MAF Sensor need's to be Cleaned. Use the
Special Cleaner and The Type Applicator that they
Specify. Be extra careful with that MAF...
How Many Mile's on Your 2008 now? 4 more year's and
it'll be 20 year's old... Price's Now for Pickup's are
nearing the Stratosphere..
