Hey thanks for the reply...I wasnt sure if you were still around being that this post is so old. I always use 92 octane or better in my cars unless they specifically call for lower octane. The mechanics that I know say its just better for your cars to run on higher octane anyway.
I will take the info you posted into consideration but the noise does not happen at an idle. It is only noticeable at between 1800 & 2300 rpm and at initial start up when cold. I will check the by pass valve but I dont think its in by pass mode. The boost seems fine and you can hear the supercharger wind up as usually.
I'm going to bring in by my mechanics house tonight and see what we find...I'll update this post...thanks again.
