Would the exhaust system (cat back) for a 02,03,04 be the same as it would be for a 2001? I'm assuming all the first gen frontiers would be the same as long as they are for the same engine but I went to Magnaflow and they don't list anything for 2001 and the cat backs I've seen on Ebay only list exhaust systems for the 02-04 Frontiers. I have an 2001 Crew Cab with the S/C V-6.
Will the 02-04 system fit my 2001? Thanks guys!

I have a 07 LE Crew Long bed which has a K&N Cold Air package and have just installed a Flowmaster 11 chambered muffler. It knocks down the annoying resonance at 2250 RPM's but increases the overall sound inside the cab at 70 MPH. I have been able to increase highway MPG with this setup.

i have a flowmaster 44 on my 04, its sounds great, not too loud, and combined with my K&N filter it bumps up my torque and mileage
my question is wether it would be ok to true dual flow it. ive heard rumors that it will rob my back pressure and i will completely loose HP, but others tell me the opposite
any help?

I have a Flowmaster 40 series on my Frontier with a tip. It
sounds good but i'd like it louder. I was wondering whats
the biggest size pipes i could put on without throwing off
my back pressure?

Biggest question is what which motor do you have?

With the V6 it depends. If you go with the stock exit location, i wouldn't go more than 2.5" Now you could with a Gibson style and exit before your rear wheels (if local laws allow) and you could do a 3" pipe.
A Large tip will allow your exhaust to project more making a little bit louder.
