Sounds like you are getting set for
some fun. I looked at the numbers on
the stands and they don't seem to be in the recall. My
son is the only one that has ever used them. He has a Ram
1500 he has had them on. He thinks there is something
wrong with them anyway. All I need is
a little "finger ratchet" in 1/4 in.
Also have to fix my daughters computer too. New HDD,
fan, and video card. So this week will be fun.

Jim,
Yea, Alway's something to do around the house.
When you go to HF, take some extra money cause you'll
probly see something else that you need, that's the way it
is with me anyway. Their Hand tools have a lifetime
warranty. They're not the best, but for the price they
are hard to beat. Sometime's Vendor's online can beat
them though; Amazon, Ebay, Northern Tool's, Grainger,
etc. I just got some Grinding/Cutoff Wheels, and Twisted
wire cup's for my 7" angle grinder from Grainger simply
cause harbor freight didn't have what I wanted.
I have a small round 1/4" finger bit holder but it's not a
rachet. I have a couple of ScrewDriver Ratchet's that I
got from Lowe's but about the same length as a regular
Screw Driver. Harbor Freight will probly have a small
finger ratchet or maybe a 90 Degree fitting that will do
the same thing maybe. If HF doesn't have one,, check out
Sear's online, Amazon, or Ebay. That's where I wind up
going if HF doesn't have what I need. It's amazing what I
can find on Ebay or Amazon and usually Free Shipping.
After I use the Jack Stand's for the Tire Rotation, I'll
check the #'s to see and take them back if I think they
are unsafe and if I can get 2 more Aluminum Jack Stand's
that are rated at least as much. I'm changing over to as
much aluminum as I can afford simply because the aluminum
is so much lite'r.
When it come's to PC's I hate working on them and
basically think of them like a Washer or Dryer. If I
can't fix them, then time to get another one,, but only to
the Grade/Price Point of doing what I need or expect to
need. I try to make them last 10 year's,, but sometime's
they just don't. The last 2 or 3 I got from Office Depot.
Usually when the PC goe's out,, I don't have access to the
internet, unless I go to the Library, which I should do,,
but just another extra step to do in getting another one.
In the past I have alway's gotten a Full Size CPU Case,
but this last one is a SlimLine, which is about 2/3 the
size. Still stand's upright though about the same height.
Cost was about 200 $'s and so far so good with a Dual
Processor. I haven't noticed any loss in speed but I
don't download Music, etc which might show a difference
speed wise. It is a Lenovo H30 series that I got back in
'17.
Alway's something to do around the house, and My Dryer
just notified me that I need to clean the Lint out of the
Exhaust Line and the Bathroom Fawcett keep's telling me
that I need to install the New Faucett that I got about a
year ago from Home Depot; I've even forgotten the brand,,
but American Standard come's to mind. So If the
Dryer Vent goe's ok, I'll probly install the Fawcett as
well and hope I don't run into a problemm cause I'll
probly be tired by then.
Alway's something to do around the House,, but that's a
Good thing cause it help's keep me out of Trouble by doing
something that I shouldn't have been doing anyway.
Regards,
