Hello there, had a rattle in behind the dash on the passenger side of my 06
frontier, took it to nissan a couple of times for them to check it out. They
couldn't find anything, so I took it for the weekend with the glove box and
dash out of the truck, got my girlfriend to drive and I checked it out for
myself,it ended up being outside the truck and the noise travelling through
the metal into the truck. It was a cab mount, when moved back and forth it
was the same rattle. Haven't had it back to nissan though to see how they'll
fix it. I just loosened it a bit for the time being.

Call up your local dealer and ask them for the torque value for the cab mounts.

My 06 KC hasn't made any noises. 3300 mi and not a single problem, at all. Everything is tight and even loose keys in the glove box don't make any noise.

Hello Colin,

I have a similar sound, more like a siren (see my recent new Topic on Whine in Rear End). Mine occurs between 70 and 80 mph. Abov or below, it is quiet.

I drove about 80 mi south to Patrick AFB, and my buddy and I heard it. On the way home, didn't hear it. same distance, same speeds. not too worried about it.
