so you have striped out the holes? if that the case you need to tap the holes to the next size up. This may sound like a dumb question but did you remove the 27mm bolt that holds the pully on? Mine came off real easy.

Where are you located? I might have some pictures I can post will have to wait till i get home.

i removed the 27mm bolt.

no i stripped the m6 bolt.   it still works....but it's gonna fail if i use it.
i think the hole is fine still i'm sure.

i cant find m6 fine thread anywhere?   what is the pitch?   this is a 1.00 and it's wrong.

all i can find anywhere is m6 1.00 and it's really pissing me off.  i cant believe i'm
set back by two tiny bolts.

no.   i cant find these bolts anywhere!!!!

i've been to home deopt, lowes, several hardware stores.  TWO mechanics at

a dealer told me i had to use M8 x 1.25 pitch,  that's impossible.

the new crank pulley is on back order.  this whole thing is a complete disaster.

in the mean time i've been sick for four days.
