You are correct!.. I had many good relationships with Jerry's Nissan in Weatherford Tx. except this one. I bought three Sentras and my truck from them. I dealt with two other Nissan dealers and bought a new '95 4x4 V-6 KC Hard body from one of them. All dealing with them were very good. I'll keep doing my own oil & filter til the pry the filter wrench out of my cold dead hand! Besides... I save a lot of cash...

I also have a similar problem. My Frontier has about 197xxx
(i know she's up there) and after it sits over night in the
morning when I hit about 2 grand it will do a whining noise
for a sec. seems like right under the driver door.. I
thought it maybe my cat converter shield loose and just
vibrating but I investigated and it seemed tight. Any
suggestions?

You guys were right...it was the timing chain. $1500 repair cost. First non-routine maintenance cost I've had in two nissan frontiers.

WOW!!!! Warranty time pays 4.6 hrs for this repair.
Customer pay is around 9.8 hrs. due to the fact that All
Data is still allowing time to remove the valve covers
which isn't required any more. I'm thinking less than $200
in parts. I can't believe they would not "GOODWILL" the
repair.
