Instruction manual assumes I have leather or vinyl interior which I do not. I have fabric and it's light gray (white exterior) in my 2011 Frontier Crew. I cannot seem to find one Nissan person or Auto Zone person that has a clue as to what I can use on the soft fabric edges or any of the fabric to clean or spot clean if it gets soiled. My first experience was finger prints from the Nissan dealership where the detail guys liberally sprayed enough detailing stuff to where everything was slick and they must have rested their hands on the fabric leaving prints. Well I took into my dealership and guess what the pros used?  A small dab of mineral spirits!!  Well it worked and once the odor passed it was ok. But isn't there anything else out there??? Thanks!

I have used Folex upholstery cleaner, also works on carpet.
Folex is found at wal mart, target, not auto parts stores.

Thanks guys, are most of these products safe though? They won't bleach or wear out the delicate light gray fabric?  Also, what do you use to apply them?  A cloth?

Before I got my frontier I had an 08 xterra that got mud on the seats
and I tried resolve foam carpet and upholstery cleaner on it and it
worked great! Just spray it on and let the foam evaporate and blot/
wipe and let dry.

Does anyone know the Fabric Codes for Nissan fabric upholstery and also whether the upholstery is "colorfast"?  Codes on Resolve High Traffic foam for carpet and upholstery are W or WS. Manual leaves a lot to be desired!

I have used Folex on my truck for over 2 years no issue. It even cleans a seat belt strap stain...

Cleaned carpet, carpeted floor mats, upholstery.
I also cleaned a dirt spot on the headliner on my minivan.

No issues at all.
