Bought a 2011 Frontier recently.  Just got done washing it and I noticed something that appears really wierd to me.  Below the bumper and on both sides of liscense plate mount are 2 big voids in the bumper.   You can literally reach straight thru and touch the radiator.   I think this design may invite damage to the radiator from stones, pebbles, etc. when you are driving.  Anyone else think this is strange?
At first I thought I was missing some sort of protective trim but that is not the case.

I bought a Billet insert and put it on my '08, just seemed
too vulnerable like you said.

I have not seen a billet insert for this?  Did not know it exists.
Where did you buy it?  Would you happen to have part #?

I just want something to cover/protect the bottom area under the grill.

Thanks

Yea, I am about to give up.  It seems 11' is too new for anyone to sell parts for.
Looked all over.  Seems to go to 2010 at best.  As an example if you go to autozone website and try to get wiper arms/refills it will list zero when you search.  Also tried in store and same crap...............

I am not 100% sure, but compare your truck to an 05 and up,
I don't believe there is any difference for that lower
opening. I got mine from eBay, it was the complete set, but
I only used the lower portion to cover the large opening.

Frontierguy; does your lower portion match the grill?

I was trying to find the lower portion piece only that matches the grill, the honeycomb grid style.

davidjbrady,
No it does not match the grill, it is aluminum straight
narrow strips.

If anyone finds the lower part for sale that will fit 11' please let me know.
I dont feel like ordering an 05 off ebay and then find out it does not fit.
Black honeycomb would be ideal.................
