Sethareno, your story matches a lot of us newer owners here on this site. And your Frontier can probably tow that trailer of yours better than the Tacoma to boot...........I still say the Tacoma shines if you use your truck as an "evening out" vehicle sometimes ( classier interior)........and the back seat is comfier in the Tacoma....
Having said that, I really like the Frontier and have no buyer's remorse at 7,900 miles...............It is a real truck that does real work without raising a fuss about it.............I have towed a Boy Scout trailer with lumber for a lashed "monkey bridge" on it, and it was a load, but the engine/tranny combo just took it all in stride...........very composed considering the load I was pulling.....Quite impressive.....
