nice!!!! good to hear i was talking to a nissan mech on just answer.com and he is leading towards my ipdm causing the problem   not the ecm relay located in the ipdm because i got nissan to send me a new relay and the problem still persists, but he thinks its the ipdm itself causing my occasional starting problems

 he says even though i had a stored p1614 NATS code it is not anything to do with the immobilizer because if it was i would see my security light on solid while trying to start the car and that is not the case with my so i may just buy a new ipdm and see if that fixes my prob.  when i do i will post on here if that fixes things    thats super 2 and everyone else who posted
