I got a notice in the mail about a week after I received the parts to fix my problem telling me about the warranty extension. I still have yet to install the new sensor because of the weather being so cold. Been thinking about taking it to a place down the street and seeing how much they'd charge me.
So to answer your question, no, I haven't fixed my problem yet. LOL

Frankly, because Dealers charge WAY WAY WAY too much for their services. I can do this myself for 5% of what they charge. I ordered the part for this a couple months ago and have had it sitting on my desk waiting and just haven't done it because of the cold temps.
