The problem is, the lite is on , but no one is home!! Stick to Genuine Nissan parts and save yourself a lot of headaches and stupid questions.

If they are stupid questions that must mean you know it all and would know how this works. they are pretty straight foward answers for people who have done this before. and NISSAN doesnt sell "kits" so they send them out to a specialty shop which will cost more then everything together

I am sure you can buy the individual parts - the harness is already there. No I don't know everything, but I know enough to stay away from aftermarket crap that doesn't fit or last like FACTORY parts do. Are there any salvage yards that you can get lites and a switch from?

So i ended up exchanging everything for the factory set up, I used the existing wire harness, and got the stalk for steering wheel.
I want to BY-PASS the lights so i can use the fog lights when i want. I assume i would have to go under the hood on the passenger side fuse panel, and tap into the FOG LIGHT FUSE as well as another power source. Its been said i need to tap into the PARKING LIGHTS fuse and install a double fuse holder. Is there another power source i can tap into so i dont blow any fuses on my parking lights???

Most states it is illegal to have the fog lites operate separately.

In most states there are a lot of things that are illegal, so whats your point? I do a lot of driving on back roads and dark roads where visibility is tough in any type of weather, and it helps to have as much lights as possible especially when high beams are on and you cant see the side of the roads where fog lamps would come in handy. So I dont see how that helps in answering my question

Publicly stating ways to break laws may be considered aiding and abetting criminal acts. I too have wanted to connect my factory fogs to the bright lights but won't do it. My Dad got ticketed by the Aridzona LEOs in the middle on the desert for running fogs with the bright head lights in 1947.
Have a good one.. your going to need it!.. Don S..

If people wanted to read your ignorant remarks they wouldn't come here to do it. The man asked simple questions, which you failed to answer. My guess is the rude remarks come from you simply lacking the knowledge to give an answer. And whoever it was praising factory parts you need to get it straight. I work in a dealership. In most cases the factory replacement is no better or different than the aftermarket. A lot of the time its made in the same place. And also I didn't know this forum was a discussion on traffic law..jus sayin.
What ignorant remarks are you refering to?... lakota
