Old timers disease setting in. I do remember doing one of
these about 5 years ago. Found the link, googled NTB05-
015b, which brought up Club Frontier, then downloaded the
pdf. It sucks not having the info I have at work at my
home, that and my 56 year old brain is becoming more of a
brick than a sponge!!!CRS!!!!

I think it is noteworthy that the "publicly available" fix for this particular problem is to spend $135 (and related gaskets/time) to replace the entire intake collector manifold, when the internal Nissan document shows that the actual fix is to spend $18 on a tube of glue and 15 minutes of actual work....

The initial TSB was NTB05-015, then upgraded to NTB05-015B,
which is the cheaper fix. It sometimes takes Nissan
engineers awhile to figure these things out, usually from
the input of us technicians working in the real world.

Ahhh, the engineer/ service battle.... It never seems to end. Coming
from a lowly (non-automotive) engineer who has also been the
serviceman for all that he has built, I can understand that!
And we soldier on...
