Just as I thought it would be. Try taking some break cleaner or carb cleaner to the MAFS and let it dry. That's cleared error codes from mine several times.
Best of luck!

Also, you can get a remanufactured one with a warranty from Autozone:
____________
That means it's only 140$ if you swap them your old one for the remanufactured one.
I only recommend replacing if the break cleaner/carb cleaner doesn't work.

As always, Best of luck!

Don't use carb cleaner on a MAFS, too strong. Brake cleaner is OK followed by gentle air blowing. It seems like I've seen MAFS cleaner in AZ or Advance auto????< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">

I sprayed some mafs cleaner and it didn't fix the problem. It did however rev up past 2rpm after the engine died for a second or so. I'll have to replace the part. I'll try out AutoZone with that refund discount. If this works I'll feel like a real pro. Thanks.
