I have to say one thing about the truck I have, I am impressed. I drove from Sacramento to Medford, OR (310 miles) and had gas put in it (Oregon law does not allow the consumer to pump their own gas) and the tank was full at 12.4 gallons!!! 25 MPG even!! I used cruise control, kept it under 75. I am also impressed that I got 25 MPG climbing those hills, they are tough climbs, the big rigs can do no more than 40, I kept my speed at 60 when climbing, the AT would downshift, I took it out of OD and kept the RPM's at 2500. Truck pulled like a champ, of course I had no load, just duffel bags and the like. I did change the oil the day before traveling with conventional 5-30.

Guys don't  get mad ! I use convential oil ! Research motor oil ! Motor Oil Myths and Facts-1.don't fall for 3000 mi.myth or dark oil myth 2.follow recommended severe oil change 3.synthetic oil if you a high performance engine or extremly cold climate otherwise it provides no benefits (but no harm either ) 4.avoid engine flushes 5.check oil 6.synthetic oil still becomes contamiinated ! Theirs more but I know you going to jump on this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
