For everybody that has bought one or is thinking about buying one:  Please PM me or send an e-mail I have some magic beans for sale gauranteed to increase HP and MPG.

really? how many magic beans do you recommend...i'll trade you for my anti-sarcasm formula?

seriously tho, just curious cause i wanted to look at the difference between the two TB's and if the gains are around town driving more than anything else...that's what i'd be more concerned with, yes..extra power and torque is nice, love it, and always lookin for ways to get more out of my truck but i'm not using my fronty to drag with (go figure ;)....popping some of my own anti-sarcasm formula)....i'm just more concerned with getting more out of it for practical day to day driving so going faster in the quarter mile from any mod is just a side benefit for me really. as you can tell i'm not super mechanically inclined, i do understand some stuff  and try to take care of what i can on my vehicle and always wanting to learn more, so i ask question.

Well, I've tried the magic beans too.  But they clogged up my fuel pump. Anyway, I did purchace a spacer.  And I'm not saying that it did make a difference in my performance or MPG.  But, I do have better performance and MPG than factory.  That being said, it might have been a waste of money, but I can't argue nor do I want to take it off.  The addition of all the mods that I have made combined is prolly why i'm getting my results.  So the spacer stays.

In the beginning I was only after better MPG.  In that process the spacers found their way into my path.  So I tried it.  It was the last mod I made to the engine itself.  The final mod was my bed cover.  And i'm not complaining.

Now, from my understanding the TBS creates a vortex of air within the intake, making the air/fuel mixture burn more efficiently.  True?  I don't know.  False?  I don't know.  I say it will probably vary with each truck.  Depending on mileage, driving habits, and the care of the owner.  I believe there are too many factors in play to say it is going to work with every car or truck out there.  There is just the theory of what it is supposed to do.  If it does it.  GREAT.  If not, then your out $70.  Either way we all learn something.

actually there would be some benefit from a tb spacer on an fi engine.horsepower would be increased do to having a larger intake plenumn volume, and torque would be increased due to having a longer runner in theory. now having said that i would not spend my money on a tb spacer.nor would i spend money on under drive pulleys if anyone offers them.working in a performance shop w/a mustang dynomometer,i speak from first hand knowledge.
