I have heard great things about them as well, the problem is that here they
will not sell to customers, only wholesale to accounted businesses. I'll most
likely veer toward the Mickey Thompson MTZ.

yup, I actually tracked down a dealer that knew what I was talking about here in Calgary. It only took three years. They are made by Multi Mile and manufactured by Cooper. They are called the Wild Country RVT. Multi Mile is tied in with another company That I forget at the moment and have never heard of before. On their website, the picture does not match the tire I am looking for, but the dealer's catalog does. Both tread patters are sold under the same designation. They are the perfect tire. They are the proper load range, great tread patter (very effective and the best cleainng tire I have ever seen, which was confirmed by the dealer that ahs owned a set as well), and the price is way better than I would have expected and they can be pinned for ice. Really looking forward to wearing out the tires I have now!

Multi-Mile Tires - Light Truck Tires, All-Terrain Tires and much more from the Tire Factory
Here are pics and descriptions of Multi-Mile tires. Made by sevral different manufacturers including Goodyear, Cooper and Kumho. I had some about 20 years ago on a full size truck and they were some of the best tires I ever owned.

Yeah, the RVT, but the alternate tread pattern is what I am after. The centre two rows resmeble the letter "C" while the shoulder blocks are the same design. I have never seen a tire clean itself out like those. And I was running a 22R in my little '83 Toy. But like I said, you don't actaully get to view the pattern, but you can still order it. I don't know why.

allright, for all those who think I'm crazy or stubborn....go to cn4xc.com, click on "member's rigs", and look at "project potato", the tan coloured pathy, those are the majic tires. Feast your eyes.
