I think I follow you on that. So if I did get the switch with the auto headlights or traction control, the lights, turn signals and fog lights would all work and the other features (auto lights and TC) would lay dormant, right? It makes sense what your saying but I just want to verify.
The switch in question is the part number you gave me. On the internet they do use their own part numbers as you said to confuse the end consumer. I talked with a rep on the phone and he confirmed your part number, then cross referenced it and turned it into their own part #.
In the end, if understand you correctly, I could order any switch with the fog light control for my 07 KC SE (only has lights and turn right now) and the fog lights will work.
