Yeah, I meant create an incline as to point the sub at the rear window. My bad...
The dimensions you are talking about are along the same lines as I was thinking...
The only thing is that I want the box to flush mount with the console and it's not exactly square.
I was thinking I could probably work a little bit of fiber glass on the MDF to create a little bit of curvature but that would take quite a bit of time...
Of course, better to take your time and do it the right way, right?

Well you could do it this way. Build the box square... then either trim up some MDF to fit in the cracks... or use the fiberglass.
Personally MDF would be better. That way you can easily take it out if you ever trade the truck in. For a newer frontier.
Now what would be funner is to build the box a little bigger... and port it. Too bad I don't have my booklet for building boxes anymore. I can't remember exactly how port measurements go right now.
But yes... taking your time is always the best. If you want to save some weight (but it'll cost you) is MDF lite, or birch wood. Expensive... but really light.

Thanks for all the info... I think I'll go with the MDF idea because honestly, I hate working with fiber glass. Been there done that... It's a pain...
I guess this weekend I'm going to go price some MDF and see how much I'm going to need.

I could tell you some prices... but my last box was done for me. I've just gotten lazier over the years. I really need to change my job. I'm too tired to work on my vehicles.
Maybe I'll try for fiance and go screw up everyone else's paycheck like they did mine....

Do you think the price of MDF changes depending on location in the country? I don't know but I do know it's not cheap.
I guess many of my questions have been answered except, I really want to get the fabric that matches my seats to make it look stock... maybe I could contact nissan...

Not quite sure on the price changes... but I wouldn't doubt it. It probably acts just like gas in certain areas. LOL
Hmmm fabric... well you can always go to a Hobby Lobby and see if they have something close. I'm pretty sure if you could get nissan to go for it... it would be expensive

I bet you're right, it would probably cost me ONE MILLION DOLLARS per square inch... if I went through Nissan...
Ohh wait, I'm not supposed to have anything in all caps, right,... oops.

My interpurtation of the rule is that a whole subject line is in caps... or around 30% of the post being all caps.
(gets the point across better if you can do all caps) But some people do go overboard.
delete with a 1 day ban for using all caps on "ONE MILLION DOLLARS"

Please don't kick me off the forum!!! J/K. Have you noticed that there is never anyone on this forum?
I think it's because it's such a "New" forum... I think I might buy that sticker and try to advertise.

Well I advertise. Have been for about a month now. I'm currently trying to get Frontier to change my title from "Nissan Frontier Forums Moderator" to "Post Whoring Mod"
I think I have the most posts out of anyone here.
