Just loaded the SV650S and took some after photos, I was on my own so there are no during photos.  Also, I use a Sport Chock to hold the bike in place during transit, all that is required is a strap on each side of the rear to prevent excessive rebound.  No compressing the forks required!     Enjoy!

Note: The bike is offset in the bed to accomodate luggage and baby stuff... we're about to leave on a 1200 mile trip. 

Also, I did note that the bed extender has a warning sticker stating a 200 lb max load on tailgate...
