98 frontier, put aftermarket radio in, nothing special boss 640a. It seems to play real low. I have to turn up the radio to 75% volume to be normal sound. Is there an amp in truck that I can hook to. The stock radio was all messed up but played louder than this one.

Any help would be nice.

The first question is do you have everything in phase meaning even
speaker wire positive to negative right next is the radio 40 or 50 by 4
watts
