I have a 2000 crew cab frontier and I purchased a 3000 lb. pop up camper. Is it necessary to use a sway bar? I'm driving about 100 miles to camp this weekend.

whats up dannyg here I thought you had a sway bar on the frontiers whats the specs of your truck like engine tranny if you have an tow rating in the 4000-5000 pound range you should be fine. now if you are going to be towing on the hiway alot than you might upgrade? Are you talking about a rear sway bar or a sway control hitch? If its a sway control hitch its a little over kill
