With the low temps that hit the mid west to the east, i'm sure that tire pressure dropped and those of us with low tire pressure indicators saw the little light on the dash go on. Well, i put air in the tires close to the 35 lbs of pressure called for on the tire info tag. drove the distance and speed the owners mannual called for to make the indicator light go out and it is still on.  owners mannual says if it stays on go back to the dealer. anybody on the forum know how to reset the indicator without a trip bak to the dealer?  thanks in advance cheers,

Some have to be driven more than others. You may also have a "NO DATA" code stored due to no data from one of the sensors. Is the lite on steady or flashing?

old sage,
Make sure you are using an accurate tire guage. If in doubt, go 3-4# more and see if lite goes out.

I had the same problem. What happen in my case was that I razed the pressure in the tire when it was cold. The light went out and all worked fine while running around town but when I ran at highway speeds the tires warmed up and made the pressure rise above the recommend tire pressure and the light came back on. It took a few stops to tweak them out but once I hit the mid range pressure the light went out and stayed out.
When I put on new skins this Spring I am going to have them filled with Nitrogen to stop all the temperature related pressure adjustments.

Too much pressure will not make the lite come on. They come from the factory with 45+# and the lite is not on.
