Just had to get my diff replaced at 45k.  What the f**k?  If it wasn't under warantee it would have cost me 3500 in parts alone!  This and a few small problems have caused me to loose my faith in the NISMO!

..

The modern D-44s are weak because they are built lighter. This is because the government is demanding better fuel mileage. For the price you are saying you could have an old strong D-44 rebuilt and regeared. If you are driving hard look at the D-60 these axles are available from mid '70s full size Jeeps like my 76 wagoneer and D-60 from J-20 Jeep pick ups. These axles may be close to the proper width. Also look for Currie axles on the Internet.

Have a good one and see you later… Don S..

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State .

A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem. Or drink all your beer! One took my wife!... J/K
